MATUA VALLEY HAWKES BAY SAUVIGNON BLANC (NEW ZEALAND)		8
	Quite a sweet smelling wine with apple, lemon, candy and a hint of nettle. On the palate fractionally off dry with lime and apple flavours and atouch of spice.
CAVE SPRINGS RIESLING (CANADA)		8
	Medium straw; lots of tart apple, with just a hint of sweetness and a little petrol. Made from the Mosel Clone grown on the Beamsville Bench, and reportedly the best selling Riesling in Canada.
FIELDING UNOAKED CHARDONNAY (CANADA)		9
	This unoaked chardonnay was fermented only in stainless steel tanks, giving it notes of golden delicious apples, pears & spices. Medium body with a long spicy finish - Great food wine.
KOONUNGA HILLS CHARDONNAY (AUSTRALIA)		9
	Stone fruits and freshly crushed nectarine surround a subtle spicy oak. A honey character, gives the wine depth. A full flavoured wine with fruit rockmelon and yellow peach - at the fore.

	Unmistakably Barossa, with a wonderful richness of delicious forest fruits on the palate. Good structure and weight, beautifully integrated oak and finishes firm with fine grained tannins.

	New World Shiraz, with generous wood and tannins but don't let that stop you for there are layers of berries, plums, currants and spices that come through to please and lead to a long mouth-filling finish.

	Fresh, fruity nose, a birlliant pale straw colour, a clean taste with a mouth-filling texture and a crisp finish. One glass seems to invite a second. Enjoy it chilled and young.
MOSOLE PINOT GRIGIO (ITALY)		47
	Dry white wine has an amber reflection. Has a bouquet of pear and peach with a light almond background. Smooth, charming and persistent.

BEST'S SHIRAZ (AUSTRALIA)		46
	The nose reeks of sweet, over-ripe, warm climate Shiraz fruit, plump blueberries in particular. A big, soft, sweet, cloying wine on the palate. Low acidity. It has obviously seen some barrel ageing as the mid to endpalate is dominated by spicy oak.

	Lively fruit aromas of plum, red currant, red cherry and rhubarb with some dark chocolate tones, integrated with creamy smooth, vanilla oak with some spicy, cherry overtones. A medium body. The finish is mouth-filling with expansive, creamy textural oak.

Excellent structure, tannins and acidity, with sturdy currant, blackberry, fresh earth, mineral and a whiff of tar and tobacco. A remarkably complex and impeccably balanced young wine that flexes it tannc muscle on the finish.

	Very pale in appearance. It remains quite restrained on the nose, with mere hints of aromas that typify Dom perignon. A mixture of almonds, cream and white fruits. The palate maintains this reserved, closed-down theme, as it remains very tight.
LOUIS ROEDERER CRISTAL (FRANCE)		330
	complex nose of honeysuckle, vanilla, brioche and white peach. The Pinot Noir is more evident on the palate, with rich and savoury notes seamlessly interwoven. Fantastically delicate bubbles complete the picture.
